What his athletes say about him…
“Dave is a very knowledgeable, analytical and conscientious coach who dedicates a great deal of time to us so we can achieve our best. He is very supportive and always finds the positives in training sessions and races even if they have not gone to plan. He has a ‘no nonsense’ approach, cares about our welfare and expects us to work hard work in return.”
How Dave describes his role as a coach…
“I help athletes achieve their ambitions but the drive to succeed must come from within themselves. It doesn’t matter how talented an athlete is they must have an in-built desire to learn, have a thirst for hard work, the drive to be the very best they can and the courage to carry it out.”
